- Jakub had heard of the von Laue family and knew that Gottfried’s line was degenerate with a penchant for the occult.
16-25 April 1941
- They researched Rennes and made the connection of the bombing to the start of the dreams and possibly waking something up.
- They researched the Thule Society.
- They were issued a suitcase sized wireless and a suitcase sized wireless detection set.
- They requisitioned silk maps of Rennes and the region for each.
- They were issued papers with their cover identities and travel permits.
- They were issued Browning pistols and silencers, two spare clips, and two grenades.
- They were assigned two pods of equipment for the Resistance:
- One contains seven Sten guns and 2000 rounds
- One contains 5 pounds of plastic explosive, 5 pen detonators, chocolate, nylons, coffee, box of caltrops.
- Clara requisitioned a microfilm camera, miniature tape recorder, and lockpick set.
- Jacques requisitioned a garrotte sewn into his coat and some collapsible binoculars, a sten gun, a combat knife, two throwing knives and a kosh, 50 foot rope with grappling hook.
- Basil requisitioned Mauser K98 Rifle with scope and bayonet, short blowgun, darts, compass.
- Jakub requisitioned a regular camera and a portable developing kit.
