0615 –Searching the encampment, they found the German’s field radio, and a codebook.

Killer secured and guarded the prisoners.

The others tried to find materials to create a travois to carry the gun and two boxes of ammo.  In the end, they decided to leave the MG34 behind.

Clara questioned the prisoners and Chance interpreted the answers.  They learned that there were units camped all over the area, and that they would be advancing toward Ypres when the panzers arrived.  However, the area between them and Mesegen was largely clear.

Ferret activated the radio and they learned of a heavy German advance.  Killer insisted in reporting the enemy troop movements.  Chance was reluctant as it might compromise their mission.  Ferret suggested moving from the area and radioing closer to Mesegen.  Killer sabotaged the machine guns, and then Chance had the soldiers remove their uniforms and executed them.

0700 – They came upon a road going north and south.  They scanned in all directions and did not see any signs of activity or recent use on the road.  Ferret noticed a cluster of buildings to the south.  They crossed the road and headed south toward the village.

On the outskirts of the village, they spied a pair of German sentries.  Killer covered them while the others made their way behind a building.  They spied three more soldiers standing around smoking.

They made their way to a bush to cross another path to another bush, and spied a machine gun next covering the path they wanted to cross.

Chance considered changing into German uniforms.  While considering their options, two of the machine gunners moved off, and the three smoking soldiers moved out of sight beyond their vehicles.

They crossed the path without being seen and signalled Killer to move up.  Killer moved into a position where he could cover the remaining machine gunner, and then the others attempted to move into the foliage.

Clara was spotted and the sentry instructed her to approach.  Chance told her to act afraid and jump back into the bush.  She acted scared and dove into the far bushes.

The sentries searched for her while Killer covered the machine gunner.  They found her, but not before Killer noticed that the machine gunner was asleep.  Clara pulled silenced pistol, and then Chance advanced and shot the nearer sentry with his silenced pistol and Ferret killed the other with his silenced pistol.  Chance killed his target with the second shot.  Killer crossed the road and joined the others…
