The Dancing Elf
Stormbolt, K’rek and B’kun broke down to one door while Lucee and Froing hit the other. Lucee and Froing entered first and noted that the tower was a single room with a stairwell spiraling up through a landing high above. The others broke through the other door and the party was hit by a greenish gas spewing from vents above.
Aeldred summoned a lantern archon to provide light. Froing was stricken by the gas. Lucee climbed the stairs, followed by the lantern archon, while Stormbolt flew up and worked at blocking the vents.
On the top level was a beautiful skylight revealing the forest canopy above. In the room was an alluring, graceful, elven woman who started dancing and enthralled Lucee and the Lantern Archon as well. The woman danced over to Lucee, grabbed her, and started sucking her blood, which weakened her dramatically.
The green mist disipated. Stormbolt flew through the gap in the ceiling and was enthralled by the woman as well. Unaware of the activities above, Aeldred waited outside for the mist to be completely gone. K’rek and B’kun held their position at the door. The fey being from of the other tower watch as well. Harli ran up the stairs. Froing climbed the stairs. Lucee broke free of the grapple.
Aeldred noted that the mist had thinned greatly but waited until it was gone. Stormbolt looked around for snacks to munch on while watching the show. K’rek and B’kun climbed the stairs. Harli and Froing arrived and were also enthralled. The elf attacked Lucee but failed to grab her. Lucee danced as well.
Aeldred and Dreck entered the tower and climbed the stairs after K’rek and B’kun. Stormbolt asked the fey if he had any snacks. Harli, Froing and the archon watched dumbly. The elf sucked more of Lucee’s blood. Lucee failed to break the grapple.
Aeldred continued up the stairs. K’rek and B’kun arrived at the top chamber, where the boar was enthralled, but K’rek was not. He dismounted and grabbed the Feybane longsword from Lucee and shouted a warning to Aledred. The others were all enthralled.
Aledred and Dreckentered and were enthralled as well. While the others idly watched, vines attempted to wrap around K’rek unsuccessfully. The kobold wounded the elf with the Feybane and his spiked tail. The fey in the corner saw the attack and swiped at K’rek. He missed, but then the kobold was compelled to leave the tower and return to Sootscale. He fought with B’kun to drag the boar out.
Nine hours later, K’rek was freed from the suggestion several miles away.
