Navasi the Envoy and Spanner the Ysoki Mechanic were hired for 100 credits by Venture Captain Arvin, a Lashunta, to retrieve some Starfinder Society insignia believed to be from the crew of a lost Starfinder mission.

They took a robocab to the Julzakama pawn shop. Navasi pressed the button and the door opened. Julzakama was ingeniously friendly and produced the goods, but wanted payment for any information.

Spanner could find no weak points in the armored glass between them and the pawnbroker. Navasi intimidated Julzakama, and he volunteered that the seller was undead, an Eoxian.

She wore a grungy flight suit and appeared to have recently gotten off a ship. She had been looking for clean skeletons and skeleton parts. Julzakama sent her to the vat gardens.

He also mentioned that the seller was in a hurry and might be looking for some protection. They left, but watched the entrance for a a while. Two people came to the shop, but they looked like customers.

They went to the vat gardens, where they noted two guards and the Eoxian. Spanner attempted to talk to the undead and she shot him. Navasi was distracted and drew her gun. One of the guards approached each of them and pulled out a tactical lasher.

Spanner drew his Azimuth Laser Pistol and shot the guard. The Eoxian ran for cover. Navasi shot at the guard threatening her but missed. The guard attempted to whip her but wrapped around a tree. The other guard whipped Spanner.

Spanner shot at his opponent, but missed. The Eoxian kept searching for parts. Navasi shot and dropped her thug. The other thug drew a gun.

Spanner shot his thug and the Eoxian attempted to negotiate. She said she got the badges from a wreck and provided the coordinates on a data crystal. The ship that found the wreck, the Endless Threnogy, had damaged its drift engines and should still be there.

In the meantime, Navasi climbed onto the catwalk and moved into a covering position. Spanner cuffed the Eoxian with his binders. They took her back to the principle and reported. She paid them and offered them the task of finding the lost crew.
