2300 – Gus and Killer noted that there were two mini-submarines mounted on the front of the U-boat.

They avoided being spotted, in spite of Killer’s clumsiness in the foliage, and made their way back to the farmhouse.

29 May 1940

0100 – Gus filled in the others on the happenings on the docks, the guard situation, and the mini exploratory submarines on the deck of the U-boat.

Chance extrapolated that the mini-submarines were probably there to search for something under the sea.

Gus fixed the radio and Ferret succeeded in contacting the allies.  They reported they located WOTAN and that she reported that the SS is the process of implementing a plan to disrupt Operation Dynamo from under the sea.  Perhaps by disrupting the sea floor to cause seismic activity to disrupt the ships.

They are ordered to disrupt the SS plan by learning the nature of the operation and then disabling the submarine.

The team elected to rest for a few hours.  They took four watches:  Gus, Clara, Ferret, Chance, Killer.

While resting, Chance and Clara tried to figure out how to wake up WOTAN.  Chance hypothesized that they need to find where here mind is.  He suspects that there is a sorcerer among the SS Sondergruppe.

On Ferret’s watch, a German patrol approached the farmhouse.  They approached and looked in the window, but saw nothing and moved on.

A little while later, the patrol returned coming down the road behind the barn.  Again the team was unnoticed and the patrol moved on.

As the sun was rising, another patrol passed by behind the barn, and this time, they saw the team’s truck.

The patrol checked out the truck, and one approached the house to look into the windows Killer and Chance were crouched behind.  The German saw inside and raised his rifle, but Killer shot him in the face with his silenced 45 and the man dropped.  The sergeant saw the man fall and called out to him.  Gus attempted to sneak across the room but ran into the table, which splintered beneath his weight with a loud crash.

The sergeant ran up toward the house.  Ferret shot him in the chest with his silenced pistol, but the German did not fall.  Killer shot him in the right arm.  Then Chance shot him the left arm and he dropped.

Killer chased after the final sentry and saw him dart around the front of the truck.  Ferret and Clara took up positions on the other side of the house.  Chance exited through the window.

Killer ran around the other side of the truck and shot at the last German.  The German shot Killer in the abdomen with a loud report, but his flak jack absorbed the hit.  Gus advanced and fired at the German, but missed.  Ferret advanced to window on the north wall.  Clara ensured that the front door was closed.

Chance advanced and shot, but missed.  Killer ran up and shot the man in the face and the German’s head exploded.

They dragged the bodies into the barn and cleaned up the scene and stole their uniforms and papers.  Gus collected six sticks grenades.  Killer took the K98 ammunition.
