In Rock Creek Park

It was a dark and stormy night.  No seriously, it was cloudy in the woods of Rock Creek Park.  Kyna was trying to determine if there was a full moon.  The tracking spell inidcated that the Black Pelt was about 500 yards away.  Walter changed to cat form, but he was unable to find a trail.  Kyna stated that the talisman was the object.  

Kyna noted that the Black Pelt was coming toward them.  Walter hid in order to snatch the talisman while the others distracted it.  Ely tried to hide behind a tree with his shotgun ready.  Kyna readied a force field.  Zoe stood defiantly.

A huge wolf ran into the clearning.  Walter was taken aback.  Kyna challenged it.  Ely pointed the shotgun and crept forward loudly.  Zoe threw a rock at it.  The Hexenwolf slammed into Ely.  Kyna cast a hex to increase gravity on the werewolf.  She noticed a shimmer around its waist and shouted it out.  Walter attacked the beast and felt something.  Ely shot at the Hexenwolf, but it dodged out of the way.  

Zoe moved in to grab the talisman, but her opponent evaded and leapt at Kyna.  She activated her shield ring and repelled it.  Kyna tried to hit the prone Hexenwolf with a rock.  Walter leapt onto the werewolf and raked it with his claws.  The wolf took a wound to its leg.  Ely ran toward the opponent and nearly fell.  He shot at it, but missed.

Zoe tried to grab the belt but was not successful.  The Hexenwolf clawed at Kyna.  Kyna made a duplicate of herself.  Walter clawed the Hexenwolf.  Ely shot it with a slug in the hindquarters and it fell unconscious.

Zoe removed the belt with the help of the scissors in Ely’s first aid kit and the Hexenwolf changed into a naked man.  Walter revered to human form.  Ely searched for his shell casings.  Kyna summoned the wardens.  Ely found the shells with Walter’s help.  Then Warden Beatty appeared.  Zoe gave him the belt and told him the story.  Beatty said he could make the story work, and then told them to get back on the magic shop investigation.  The he gathered up to the belt and the hexenwolf and disappeared.  And then it started sleeting.

They returned to the car and went to the diner for pancakes.  Walter fell asleep in the car.
