The Lost Temple of Erastil

The bear hugged Piotr. It clawed Froing and grabbed him. It bit Ilya and he went down. Reppa missed. Jeju missed. Froing channelled energy. Stormbolt missed. Piotr was unable to escape. Ambiorix missed with his crossbow.

The bear hugged Piotr and Froing into unconsciousness. And then bit the dragon. Stormbolt cast an empowered Energy Missile. Reppa and Jeju missed. Ambiorix hit with an ultrasonic ray.

The bear continued to squeeze Piotr and Froing. It bit Stormbolt and he went down too. Ambiorix cast Cure Light Wounds on Stormbolt.

The bear attacked Jeju and Reppa. It clawed the druid savagely. It clawed and bit Jeju as well before hugging Reppa. She missed with her scythe. Jeju missed as well. Froing kept bleeding. Stormbolt was unconscious. Ambiorix cast Cure Light Wounds on Froing.

The bear continued squeezing Reppa into unconsciousness, but it missed Jeju. The wolf bit the bear and tripped him. Ambiorix failed to kill it.

The bear stood. Jeju bit the bear and killed it. There was a human sounding sigh of relief from the bear and transformed into an elderly man, who then disintegrated. The temple revitalized. The water in the pool be came clear and radiated magic.

Ambiorix cast Cure Light Wounds on Froing. He healed Reppa, who identified the pool as curing. Froing healed Stormbolt. Reppa and Jeju lapped up the pool. Then they all drank from in it until healed. Froing cast Lesser Restoration to restore Piotr’s Dexterity. 

The Hot Springs

They continued mapping the area, and made camp at nightfall. Reppa caught ample rabbits for everyone to eat well. They camped again at the Temple of Erastl and Reppa prayed for another wolf companion. In the night Pervalash reappeared and told Stormbolt about a hot springs to the west. Max, another wolf, arrived in the morning.

The next day, the party headed for the hot springs. Toward the end of the day, the came upon another river, where half a dozen elk were grazing. Reppa attempted to befriend them, but was unsuccessful. In the end, she Entangled one and the wolves drove the other off.

The river was 30 yards across and smelled of sulphur. Reppa realized that the hot springs were up river. They went in that direction until nightfall and made camp.
