Chosen drakin sorcerer Raziel, dwarven Weaponsmaster Tarek Ambervaile, Glowborn Salvager Eliah, and elven priest Nerian explored the wreck of the Raven. They fought off baboons, skeletons and a puppeteer, and found what could be salvageable armor and weapons.
Having recovered the signature embroidered gloves of Allon Hawke, the son of merchant Tomas Hawke, they prepared to return to Karr Luckfinder’s ship. However, there was significantly more salvage than the their ship could carry.
They took the lucky charm, the Ravenwing Amulet, and four suits of potentially collectible chain mail with them. The rest they gathered in the lower level of the tower and collapsed the access points.
When they returned, Luckfinder signed away his share of the salvage in exchange for the behemoth amulet good luck charm. Tarek drafted a written contract to that effect. Then they departed for Gateway to report to Hawke.
The Drifting Hulk
On the first day out, they came upon the wreckage of a Dwarven Frigate, an Elven Sky Sloop, and an Orcish Frigate jammed together and drifting on the winds. There were no signs of life on the decks, but smoke was billowing up, and small fires were burning here and there.
Tarek insisted on searching for dwarven survivors. Raziel wanted to find out what happened. Eliah was concerned with potential slave activity. Nerian was indifferent and aloof.
They boarded the dwarven ship through a breach in the hull plating. Upon entering, they were set upon by six goblins, which they dispatched effortlessly.
Then they were surprised by three orcs. Tarek was hit by a thrown spear. Then the orcs charged. Nerian cast a blast of thorny vines and killed one, and then Tarek knocked one down.
Three more orcs appeared from behind them. Nerian cast another blast, killed one, and stunned another. Then Raziel cast a blast and stunned the other.
A dwarf appeared from the eleven ship and joined the fight. The new orcs attacked and stunned Nerian. He in turn fatigued an orc. Tarek killed the last of the first orcs and the newcomer dwarf killed last orc.
